About Us
Lutheran Church of the Master (LCM) is a friendly, inclusive, and faithful congregation. The atmosphere is casual, and visitors and members are warmly welcomed to participate in our worship services and programs.
LCM was formally organized in 1958. It is a mission congregation, born from Zoar Lutheran Church (also in Perrysburg) due to crowded conditions. LCM was planted on the east side of Perrysburg, where new home construction was underway. Lutheran Church of the Master developed its own identity, separate from Zoar, however, we keep a relationship with Zoar. Our worship style incorporates elements of a traditional service with elements of a contemporary service. We enjoy a variety of worship music, ranging from contemporary Christian to traditional Lutheran hymns. |
Mission
The mission of Lutheran Church of the Master (LCM) is to love God, to love others, and to magnify the name of Jesus Christ. The vision of our church is to glorify our God and Savior, Jesus Christ, to make true disciples throughout all the nations by means of missionary activity and support, to minister the sacraments, to edify believers, and to do all that is possible and biblically permissible to magnify the name of Jesus.
